Accepting online payments

Connect Stripe and turn on online prepayment for your bookings.

CoreBookin can collect card payment from customers when they book, using Stripe Connect. Funds settle directly to your Stripe account — we never hold them. This page covers the one-time setup.

Step 1 — Connect Stripe

  1. Go to Admin → Settings → Payments.
  2. Click Connect with Stripe. You'll be sent to Stripe to create or link an account and provide the business and tax details Stripe requires.
  3. When Stripe finishes review, you'll be sent back to CoreBookin and the status changes to Active.

Only the business ownercan start or manage the Stripe Connect link. This is a tax and legal action and isn't delegable to staff.

Step 2 — Turn on online payments

  1. On the same Payments page, switch Accept online payments to On.
  2. This unlocks the per-service payment options. Open each service and choose its payment policy and refund rules.
The toggle stays disabled until your Stripe account shows Active. If Stripe still needs information from you, finish the Stripe checklist first.

Turning it back off

Switching Accept online payments off stops new customer prepayments. Already-paid bookings are unaffected — they keep their refund eligibility based on the policy in effect at the time of payment.

Fees and payouts

  • Stripe's standard processing fee applies to each charge — see Stripe's pricing for your country.
  • Payouts go directly to the bank account on your Stripe Connect profile, on the payout schedule Stripe set for you.
  • CoreBookin does not take a per-transaction cut on bookings.
