How customers book

What customers see when they book through your booking page.

This page describes exactly what a customer sees when they book with you. Use it as a reference when answering questions or testing your own page.

1. Landing on your booking page

Customers arrive at corebookin.com/your-business-slug. They see your business name, a short description, your address (if set), and a list of services with duration and price.

2. Picking a service

Each service is a card. Tapping one starts the booking flow for that service. Inactive services are hidden completely — see Activating & deactivating services.

3. Choosing a staff member

If more than one staff member offers the service, the customer picks one — or chooses Any available, which lets the system pick from whoever is free. If only one staff member offers the service, this step is skipped.

4. Picking a date and time

Customers see a calendar of upcoming days. Available time slots show as buttons; full or closed days are greyed out. The list reflects:

  • Your business hours
  • Any service-specific window
  • The chosen staff member's existing bookings
  • Your booking lead time (e.g. "at least 2 hours in advance")

5. Entering details

The customer enters name, email, and phone. They can add a short note (e.g. allergies, parking question). Required fields are marked.

6. Paying online (if enabled)

If the service uses online payment, the customer either chooses Pay now / Pay at appointment (when optional) or is sent straight to the card screen (when required). The slot is held for 15 minuteswhile they pay; if they don't finish, the slot is released and the booking is cancelled.

7. Confirmation

On submit they see a success screen with the booking reference and a link to manage the booking. The confirmation email goes out within seconds.

Mobile experience

The booking page is mobile-first. Most customers will book from their phone — test in mobile view at least once before sharing your link widely.
