Staff invites

How staff invites work, expiry, and resending.

The Staff page lists everyone you've invited and where each invite stands. From here you can resend, revoke, or follow up on invites that haven't been accepted yet.

Invite states

  • Pending — sent but not accepted yet.
  • Accepted — they signed in; the invite is closed.
  • Expired — the link timed out (default 7 days).
  • Revoked — you cancelled the invite before it was accepted.

Resending an invite

For pending or expired invites, click Resend next to the entry. A fresh email goes out and a new link is generated — the old link stops working immediately.

Revoking an invite

If you sent an invite to the wrong person, click Revoke. The link stops working straight away and the entry moves to the Revoked list. You can re-invite the correct address afterwards.

Why invites expire

Time-limited invites keep your business safe — if a link leaks, it's only live for a few days. The default is 7 days; we don't currently expose a way to extend that.

The invitee's email is the only thing checked when they accept. If they forward the link to someone else, that person could accept on their behalf — so treat invites like passwords and don't share them.
