Deleting a business
Permanently delete a business account and what happens to data.
You can delete your account at any time. What happens depends on the kind of account you have — customer, staff, or business owner.
As a customer
- Open Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your profile is removed within 30 days.
What we keep:
- Past bookings stay in the business's records (anonymised after 30 days where the law allows).
- Anything required by law for tax or compliance reasons.
What we delete:
- Your profile, sign-in credentials, and notification preferences.
- Future bookings — these are cancelled and the business is notified.
As staff
Ask your business owner to deactivate or remove you from the business first (see Activating & deactivating staff). Once you're no longer attached to a business, follow the customer deletion flow above.
As a business owner
Deleting your business is a bigger step. Before we can delete:
- All future bookings are cancelled (customers are notified by email).
- Your subscription is cancelled — see Refunds for what happens to remaining time.
- Staff accounts attached to your business are detached.
- Your booking page goes offline immediately; the URL becomes available for re-use after 30 days.
- Open Settings → Danger zone.
- Click Delete business.
- Type the business name to confirm.
Changed your mind
Within the 30-day grace period, email [email protected] and we can usually restore the account. After 30 days, deletion is permanent.
