Assigning staff to services

Choose which team members can perform each service.

Each service is performed by one or more staff. Customers see only the staff assigned to a service when they pick a time.

Assign staff to a service

  1. Open the service from Admin → Services.
  2. In the Staff section, tick everyone qualified to perform it.
  3. Save. Available slots refresh based on the new staff list.

Customer choice vs "any available"

  • If multiple staff are assigned, customers can pick a specific person or choose Any available.
  • Any available picks whichever staff is free at the chosen time. Useful for higher-traffic services.
  • If only one staff is assigned, the choice is hidden and the booking is auto-assigned to them.

When a staff member leaves

Deactivating a staff member automatically removes them from all services. Any existing bookings stay in their name and remain visible in the schedule, but no new bookings can be assigned to them.

A service with no assigned active staff is not bookable. The booking page will hide it until at least one staff member is assigned.
