Bookings
Creating a booking
Add bookings on behalf of customers from the admin dashboard.
Sometimes you need to add a booking yourself — a phone-in customer, a walk-in, or a regular you're penciling in. Owners and staff can both create bookings directly from the dashboard.
From the schedule
- Open Schedule.
- Click an empty time slot in the day or week view.
- Pick a service and (if applicable) a staff member.
- Enter the customer's name, email, and phone. If they already exist in your customer list, start typing and pick from the suggestions.
- Save. The slot fills in immediately.
Bookings without an email
Email is optional when you create a booking yourself. If you skip it, no confirmation email is sent. SMS still works as long as you have a verified phone number on file. Add the email later from the booking detail panel if the customer provides it.
Overriding business hours
By default you can't book outside your business hours. If you genuinely need to (early opening, after-hours appointment), check Allow outside hours in the create dialog. The slot becomes a one-off and won't change your published availability.
Recurring bookings
Recurring bookings aren't supported yet — each booking is a single appointment. For weekly regulars, the fastest path is to create the next few in one sitting.
Conflicts
If you try to book a slot that overlaps with another booking for the same staff member, you'll see a conflict warning. You can either pick a different time or, if the overlap is intentional (a quick add-on, for example), check Allow overlap to save anyway.
